Covering the bases for you (the User or otherwise Reader) and us (Green Thumbs Magazine or GTM for short) in our little adventure here. These terms of service (“Terms” for short) are an agreement between you and us, and your access and use of this site is contingent upon the acceptance, compliance of, and abidance by these terms.

What We Do

We provide a website with information for you to read. Everything expressed that is provided to you by GTM is our opinions, content, and so on. This will be reiterated often, but please credit us with any content you share or otherwise source from our website.

Using Our Site

By using the site, you agree to our Terms. Should these terms change at any time, to continue using the site, you agree to those changes in the form of the current Terms.

User Responsibility: You’re responsible for any content you generate on our site via the newsletter, comments, name, or otherwise. We ask that you please do not violate anyone’s copyrights or privacy or otherwise with the content you generate on this site. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion, but this generally refers to any of the following:

• Discrimination of any kind. We are an inclusive environment designed to be enjoyed by everyone and do not tolerate harassment of any kind.
• Harassment of any kind. See above.
• Violation of another parties’ copyrights, contracts, privacy etc.
• Harmful content, including attempts at defrauding or otherwise scamming users of the site.
• Any attempts to collect user info in a malicious manner, including but not limited to linking or dissemination of viruses, Trojan horses, keyloggers, malware, trackers, etc.

This is a pretty common sense list. We reserve the right to remove content of any kind at our discretion.

Should there be any consequences for these actions being posted upon our site, you are solely responsible for the content you generate here.

Our Role in This: Generally speaking, we do not endorse or otherwise cosign any information, discussion, or otherwise left in comments unless we explicitly state otherwise. Just because you have a comment here or share our content, doesn’t mean we agree with you or anything you say or stand for, unless we explicitly state otherwise.

Likewise, while you’re responsible for the content you generate, we do prefer to take an active stance in moderation. If you need to report anything to us, such as a violation of the user responsibility terms above, please contact us at contactgreenthumbsmag@gmail.com.

Anything you post here you retain the rights to, and if we want to use it somehow (such as quoting you or highlighting you on our page), we’ll get in touch.

Privacy

Your privacy means a lot to us, which isn’t corporate speak. Crow is an avid fan of FOSS and transparency, so for more info, check out our Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing

Mostly detailed in the privacy policy. Information you share with us will be used by us in the means outlined in the privacy policy.

Advertisements

We don’t do these, but if we do, this section will be updated and any subscribers to the newsletter will be notified.

Unless otherwise mentioned, all information hosted on this site will be provided under the CC BY 4.0. We think this is the best way to protect our work while giving creative freedom to the community to make memes and whatever. Please review the license, but the tl;dr (too long, didn’t read) is that you can remix or edit our work for noncommercial purposes so long as you credit us, and that license is extended to your work as well. No free rides.

Termination

Should you want to terminate this agreement, you can stop using the site. For privacy policy stuff, let us know at contactgreenthumbsmag@gmail.com and we will do our best to remove your information from what we can. This is not a guarantee that we can or will remove any prior content, but we can definitely take you off the mailing list.

Disclaimers

You use this site at your own risk and we provide any services on an “As Is” basis without express to warranties, .

Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

We (GTM and its staff) are not liable for any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, expenses, consequences, punitive, indirect, or incidental, or otherwise shenanigans that arise from your use of the site, applicable to the terms or otherwise. This also includes our terms, us, our our services, even if you have been advised to such damages. Our aggregate liability relating to, arising out of, or in any manner of connection to our terms, us, or our services, will not exceed five united states dollars ($5), notwithstanding any exclusions in applicable states or jurisdictions. We’re also not liable for any user content, access, or violations use of our site, however, we will do our best to protect from any harassment as detailed above.

Waver, Severance

Waver: If we fail to enforce or uphold any of this, that does not apply as a waiver of those terms or any other terms detailed in this agreement.

Severance: If any of these terms are invalid or otherwise unenforceable, those terms will be limited or removed, and the remaining provisions still stand in full effect.

Notifications to Changes

We will notify any users of changes to these Terms or to the Privacy Policy via means we deem appropriate, including use of the newsletter or pop-up notices on the page. Likewise, any changes will be reflected upon this page, with this page dated to notify when those changes are in effect.

International Users

This website and its team are based in the United States of America, and as such, we ask that you please understand it is your responsibility to comply with local law to cover anything not addressed by the Terms and your use of this site is at your own volition.
